Mermaid Soap: an experiment well enjoyed.

Both of these pages were a one shot narrative that in my own way, was my personal love letter to the comic series that inspired my urge to become a comic artist/ graphic novelist; ‘Inuyasha’, by Rumiko Takahashi.

The first page was done in a more practiced style and media of mine, various sized micron ink pencils, pencils, a ruler and a big fat eraser. The second page(what I would call a ‘placeholder cover’ for this comic) was done in a way I had only tried once before; using black ink from the ink well, and a series of paint brushes.
